Nobody said success was easy. In fact, not only is it hard, it is extremely difficult. Success comes at the price of failure; trying enough until an idea or action pulls through the desired result. The first idea is never the best idea, but it’s a start; the willingness to put forth your ideas repeatedly with the risk of rejection allows you to constantly improve upon them. Realizing rejection is crucial to the development of a stronger idea is a characteristic of humbleness.
Those that are successful and able to maintain their success, more often than not, understand how to be humble. Success can brings you incredible highs, but the fall from the top hurts that much more; knowing the struggles it takes to be successful at incredible lows allows you to overcome those huge drops. The people that have built their success with little to no help from others are the ones with the most confidence in doing it again after their success disappears. Those that are humble understand that opportunity will shine through in dark times if the risk of rejection is continued to be embraced.
Remember, success never comes easy; so stay humble and remain successful.
